Description
Inert US XM563E4 fuze for 105mm BEEHIVE howitzer round for use with the 105mm M546 anti-personnel flechette howitzer round, also known as the "Beehive" round. These rounds were used in great numbers, and with great effect, against the NVC during Vietnam. The beehive became a great weapon of both physical & psychological warfare. The fuze dates from the Vietnam era, is in excellent condition, and still contains the internal clockwork mechanism.
