The January 1976 edition remained part of the Army’s military-pyrotechnics publication system for many years and received numbered changes. An official 1988 reprint incorporated current pages from Changes 1 through 5. On March 5, 1996, the Army issued TM 9-1370-203-34 as a later replacement and stated that it superseded the January 21, 1976 TM 9-1370-203-34&P, including all changes. This long publication history shows the continuing importance of standardized maintenance guidance for pyrotechnic materiel.
