Bring a centerpiece of modern Marine Corps firepower to your collection. This restored, inert 83mm Mark 6 HEAA rocket is built around real U.S. components—an original Mk 124 high-explosive anti-armor warhead, original warhead-to-motor adapter, and an original rocket motor—professionally demilitarized and finished for display. To complete the profile, our shop fabricated CNC-machined aluminum fins and a fin adapter (fully functional for deployment demonstrations), as well as a precision 3D-printed venturi that replicates the external geometry with exceptional fidelity.

Historical background

Adopted by the U.S. Marine Corps in the mid-1980s, the SMAW (Shoulder-Launched Multipurpose Assault Weapon), Mk 153 traces its lineage to the Israeli B-300 concept and quickly became the Marines’ go-to shoulder weapon for defeating armor, fortifications, and urban strongpoints. The Mark 6 HEAA rocket provided the SMAW’s dedicated anti-armor punch, while other SMAW rockets (e.g., HEDM and NE) broadened the system’s breaching and bunker-reduction roles. SMAW rockets were employed in combat from Desert Storm through Iraq and Afghanistan, where their compact size, modular carriage, and spotting-rifle fire control helped Marines place accurate shots in complex terrain.

Why this piece stands out

  • Authentic core components: Built from a real Mk 124 warhead, original adapter, and original rocket motor—all inert—preserving the correct form, weight, and surface details.
  • CNC-machined piezoelectric tip: replica piezoelectric tip machined from aluminum.
  • Functional fins for demonstration: CNC-machined aluminum fins and fin adapter articulate like the originals for an accurate, hands-on display (non-flight, non-functional).
  • Faithful external geometry: A 3D-printed venturi completes the rear section, matching the proper contours for a convincing, full-length presentation.
  • Exhibit-ready finish: Professionally restored with period-appropriate paint/markings (minor variations possible).
