Description
Inert 75mm Belgian 1917 shell casing used in the Canon de 75 mle TR during WWI. This 75x280mm casing is made of brass and is in good condition. Markings can be clearly seen. The Canon de 75 modele 1905 a tir rapide, also known as the Canon de 75 mle TR, was a field gun used by Belgium during WWI and WWII. It was a license-built copy of the Krupp 7.5 cm Model 1903. Production continued during WWI until the Germans overran the factory in 1914.
