Description
Inert 57mm shell casing, used in the QF 6-pounder Hotchkiss by Britain in 1904. This 57x307mm casing is made of brass. This casing is in BEAUTIFUL condition. This casing is believed to be a cut-down version from the above mentioned casing. It currently measures 60x264mm. The QF 6-pounder Hotchkiss was a long-lived 57mm naval gun introduced in 1885 to defend against new, small and fast vessels such as torpedo boats and later submarines.
