About the M306A1 family: The M306A1 projectile body was used in both High-Explosive (HE) and Target Practice (TP) loadings. Service HE rounds were filled with Comp B, while TP rounds were inert-filled with a small black-powder spotting charge. This offering is 100% inert and finished in an HE display configuration.
Historical background
Fielded at the end of World War II and widely employed in the Korean War (and in limited roles into the early Vietnam era), the M18 57mm recoilless rifle gave U.S. infantry platoons a lightweight, shoulder-fired answer to light armor, bunkers, and fortified positions.
