Inert 47mm shell casing, used in the QF 3-pounder Nordenfelt by Britain during WWII . This 47x376mm casing is made of brass. This casing is in good condition, and markings can be faintly seen. This casing is believed to be cut down from the above mentioned casing. It currently measures 52x300mm due to being cut down The QF 3-pounder Nordenfelt was a light 47mm quick-firing naval gun and coast defense gun of the late 19th century.
