Description
Inert 30mm PGU-15/B projectile for use in the GAU-8 Avenger cannon, which is used aboard the A-10 Thunderbolt II "Warthog" jet aircraft. The A-10 is used in fixed-wing close air support, forward air control, and ground-attack aircraft missions. The later "tank killing" role being its most effective use. The entire airframe was built around the rotary cannon that fires this round. The Avenger cannon is one of the most effective aircraft cannons ever developed. The cannon fires these rounds at the stunning rate of 4,200 rounds per minute.......which is 70 rounds per second. MINT condition.
