Inert armor-piercing 15mm round, used in the MG-151/15 Autocannon during WWII by Germany. This 15x96mm round has a steel casing. This complete round is in good condition. Some paint wear on projectile, markings can faintly be seen. The MG 151/15 autocannon was a German aircraft-mounted autocannon produced by Waffenfabrik Mauser. However after combat evaluation it was replaced by the MG 151/20 due to being able to fire a more powerful explosive shell, and was preferable to a higher projectile velocity.
