US WWII New/Old Stock M70D telescope for use with the 37mm gun on the M5 Stuart tank and the M8 Greyhound armored car. The reticle is marked "37-M51", which is for use with the 37mm M51 armor-piecing capped round, which was primarily used for anti-tank applications. This scope is in absolutely beautiful condition, especially for being almost 75 years old!! Telescope is dated 1943. Original military packaging was still sealed, and was opened for the first time to take the photos. This comes with: the M70D telescope, its green/yellow/red filters, its eye guard, and its original packaging. Everything you see in the photos (tank not included!!). A real piece of WWII tank history, but could be used for many other purposes as well. The optics have a magnification of 3x, and the glass is in near mint condition, and has amazing clarity! Unbelievable that this is the first time the box has been opened, and the contents are in this kind of condition!! Please take a look at ALL 30 photos for additional information on this telescope.
