This inert 90mm German RGW-90 "MATADOR" (Man-Portable Anti-Tank, Anti-Door) Recoilless Launcher is an extremely rare and sought-after piece of modern military ordnance. Designed for versatile anti-armor and urban warfare applications, the MATADOR is used by Germany, Singapore, Israel, and several other NATO-aligned forces. This is the only one we have available, making it a must-have for serious collectors, historians, and military enthusiasts.
Historical & Tactical Significance:
The RGW-90 MATADOR was developed as a next-generation shoulder-fired anti-tank weapon designed to replace aging LAW (Light Anti-Tank Weapon) and Panzerfaust systems. It was developed jointly by Dynamit Nobel Defence (Germany) and Rafael Advanced Defense Systems (Israel), ensuring a balance of precision, lightweight mobility, and destructive power. The MATADOR stands out due to its dual-role capability, making it effective against light armored vehicles/tanks, bunkers, and reinforced doors in urban combat environments.
First introduced in 2000, the MATADOR features an advanced recoilless launch system, which significantly reduces backblast, allowing safe firing inside buildings and confined spaces—a key feature for modern urban warfare. It is widely used by elite infantry, special operations forces, and airborne troops in Germany, Singapore, and Israel, as well as by NATO-aligned countries.
